Since being founded in 1893 and officially obtaining a national bank charter in 1909, Peoples National Bank has stood by and stood for the people of Southern Illinois. However, in 2004 PNB expanded into the Saint Louis area and eventually opened a branch in Clayton in 2008. Keeping a Clayton location was very important to PNB but they were in need of a new space. Moving to Hanley Corporate Towers not only allowed PNB to stay in Clayton but also inspired them to change their banking aesthetics to appeal to a more modern Clayton clientele. QDR was hired to provide PNB with a fresh new interior while maintaining their history.

We renovated their existing facilities while maintaining the existing architectural elements and incorporated those same elements into the systems furniture standards. Integrated their new technology systems with the systems furniture and designed a new artwork/graphics program to represent their history as well as their future mining technology. The finishes were metallic look and feel throughout to represent industry.
